Fortune Ranked Company is seeking a Staff Accountant for a great growth opportunity. In this role you will apply principles of accounting to develop, analyze and interpret financial information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against financial targets and other matters relating to financial soundness, accuracy and integrity.

Specific Duties Include:

Review P&L s during close and analyze variances.


Prepare and enter journal entries.

Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.

Prepare budget to actual variance reports on a monthly basis.

Resolve issues with various departments such as Accounts Payable, Collectionsand Field Administration.

Prepare trend reports for analysis



To be successful in this role candidates should possess:

Bachelor' s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting required

3+ years of general accounting experience including analysis of financial statements, general ledger accounting and knowledge of GAAP.

Thorough proficiency working with common business software, such as Excel, Access, and Word.

JDEdwards general ledger system experience a plus.
