Global Leader within their industry with worldwide headquarters in Gwinnett County seeks to hire a Cost Accounting Supervisor. This organization feels they are part of a team that is making a difference in the quality of peoples lives.

In this role you will assist in ensuring that sales and product cost are accurately reported in the general ledger on a timely basis, while working to ensure that financial systems are maintained, from a product perspective, as to properly report monthly results.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBITIES


Product Costing/Cost Accounting

Inventory Reconciliation

Monthly Closing Activities

Planning and Forecasting

Process Improvement and Project Work

Intercompany Payables for specific divisions


Minimum requirements Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA/MBA preferred

4+ years of experience in the area of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment

Proven monthly financial closing skills including journal entries, accruals, and reporting

Intermediate Excel, Microsoft office, and ERP system familiarity (SAP, PeopleSoft, ect)
