Description




Our Client is seeking experienced candidates to assist their Alpharetta based Operations team. The candidate must be versed in administrating RHEL and Oracle with good administrative knowledge of Apache and JBoss. Position requires good communications skills to work with business development and operations teams.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Operating system, Application Server, & Web Server installation and configuration

2. Good understanding of Oracle/SQL and processes including Oracle RAC, Oracle tools.

3. Experience in JBoss, JON configuration/administration and WebObjects J2EEE Application Server is a must

4. General troubleshooting of: operating systems, hardware, database and app problems

5. Assist in the development and implementation of all Servers

6. All other duties as assigned by Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:


1. Experienced Red Hat Enterprise Linux skills

2. Experience with installation and maintenance of JBoss App server 4.0 and higher

3. Experience with Apache 2.0 and higher

4. Oracle/SQL database administrative skills

5. Shell Scripting (sh, ksh, PERL, SED, AWK, etc)

6. Be able to work and communicate in team environment

7. Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
