This beautiful Rare German Bisque child doll <b>Circa 1885</b> was brought by German immigrants to NJ. She dates back four family generations. The lady pictured was a family member who, at one time, owned the doll. This doll has real hair, socket head and is fully jointed. She is 27" tall 119-13 and 'Handwerck 5 Germany' is stamped in vertical order on her head. She has a beautiful face, big brown opening and closing eyes, tiny pearl earrings and porcelain teeth revealed from a sweet parted mouth. Great shape and perfect porcelain face. Considering her age, expected wear, as she has a few scuffs on her leather shoes, few small fine body line cracks and slight wear on her fingers. She has not been repaired or painted. Underneath her delicate detailed dress is a petticoat and body stocking. We think that the dress was hand made. The crochet was the handwork of the original owner. Could she speak, she would tell of tea parties and warm memories shared with a special little girl. She has been a well cared for family heirloom and is spoken of in the old family album. She would make a great gift for another little girl or addition to a personal collection. Many more years of enjoyement...$625
