This is a 1973 Jeep J-2000 1/2 Ton pick-up truck with "Quadra-Trac" full time 4 wheel drive.
It Has a 360 cu. in. 2barrel carburated engine. With a high/low tranny(granny gear). Power steering and power brakes. This vehicle had a new "factory" re-built short block put in it 2 1/2 years ago. I primarily use it to haul anything I can't get in my other vehicles. I drove it from Atlanta to Nashville about a year and a half ago to do a job and had no problems whatsoever out of it. Since I've owned it I've replaced: Drive Shaft (re-built by Drivetrain Atlanta) Starter: Advanced Auto Parts Alternator: Advanced Auto Parts Starter Selenoid: Advanced Auto Parts Brake shoes: Advanced Auto Parts Front Shocks: Advanced Auto Parts The gas gauge doesn't work and the caburator needs adjust/re-build. The battery is weak and probably needs replacing. Replaced the rear tail gate that took me about 6 months to find because of the rarity of the truck. I finally found it on E-Bay in Arizona for $225 + shipping. I have the "original" Jeep hub caps for it. The truck was originally equipped with under dash air conditioning but it is inoperabled, although, I do have the original compressor. I also have an assortment of miscellaneous parts including a headliner and tow hitch ball that goes with the truck. I had planned on restoring it, but never could match the monies to the dreams.
