This is one of the most attractive and richest looking art vases I have ever

owned … if you like decorative glass, it’s worth taking the time to look at.

I believe any collector will love this fabulous vase of absolutely wonderful

color, form and design.

There are two translucent colors of turquoise and clear.

QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP

Like a stand-up Victorian collar around one’s high-fashion neck, the vase has a

very distinctive turquoise green ruffled edge.  A special hand tool was used to

manipulate nearly-molten blown glass rim and craft this ribbon-like decoration. 

Free-form finish is all one piece (not an attached trim) as it flows into a most

unusually shaped clear vase design.  A network of fine cracks (crackling) was

produced by quickly cooling glass that has been fired to a carefully controlled

temperature.  Turquoise green pedestal base appears attached (applied) by the

glassworker’s hand.  The base is such an integral part of the piece that it adds,

and gives this vase, a very elegant overall appearance. Outstanding vivid color.

Appears Immaculate & Never Used ~ Delicate & Heavy ~ No Cracks, Chips,

Fleabites Or Dings ~ Crackled Effect ~ Smooth Finish Throughout ~ No Sharp

Surfaces Whatsoever ~ Magnificent Free Blown ~ Excellent Work Of Art

Common ‘pontil’ mark, left where glass was broken away from the blowing

pipe when it was made, is noted on circular base.  Round scar remained which,

on this fine quality piece, is ground and polished smooth.  Noted deliberately

placed teardrop inclusions.  Formed by air bubbles, they were used to highlight.

Vase is absolutely MINT and shows no problems, excuses or damage anywhere.
