For the easy rider who loves everything regarding motorcycles.
So buy this great picture … and ride on.
This professionally framed art will become a remarkable showpiece, an awesome presentation of antique biking.
Very Unique Classic Display ~ Artistic Collage Of Motorcycle History Memorabilia ~ Frame Is Brown Solid Wood Crafted
Beautiful glass-encased, wooden-framed shadow box showcases a "Customized 1936 motorbike with the famous 'Stars and Stripes'” in a decorative composition.
The motorcycle measures 9" x 4". Primary colors are blood red, metallic silver, and jet black. There is great detail to this antique motorcycle (see photos). The red, white and blue American Flag design on the gas tank just makes it that much more special!
Above the motorcycle is an embossed “Schrader Balloon Tire Gauge” with the same scripted note below.
In upper left corner is a black leather motorcycle jacket with the collar up. The bold white lettering reads, “LOVE TO RIDE”. The footnote placed below the item reads, “Bikers have their own dresscode, language and insignia”.
In the right corner is a pair of “early thirties motorcycle goggles”.
Opposing sides are silver metal pins arranging old black and white print newspaper clippings. Newsprint photos on the right are indicated as “Some early bikes in 1916”. Among the interesting news articles on the left is one entitled: “In memory of over 58,014 brothers who never returned Vietnam 02-75".
HELLS ANGELS, British Columbia newsprint appears in the top left center, and 4 newsprint posters of the 1960s movie Easy Riders are displayed at the top right center. In between these two, and positioned above the motorcycle, the scripted free-spirited message reads, “I feel that being a biker is a part of what freedom in America is all about.”
SPECIAL FEATURES The center focus of this hand crafted shadow box is the red and silver toned motorcycle with the American Flag design on the gas tank. This – along with a black leather jacket model, a tire gauge, and the goggles – is three dimensional on a hunter green fabric backdrop. Other newspaper items are cut out and then artistically dispersed there about and have a great aged look.
APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS Picture frame measures 20 1/2" wide by 11" high by 2" deep. This is a substantial piece weighing about 8 pounds.
READY TO HANG No exposed J-hooks. Affixes to the wall with D-rings about 19” apart on the back for balanced wall mounting in a horizontal option. All you need is a hammer and 2 nails. If you desire, this hangs flush against the wall, or can also suspend from a chain or heavy braided ribbon.
CONDITION Overall well kept very detailed motorcycle vignette appears brand new. Solid wood frame and backing meets as it should, and is intricately cornered front and back by the hand craftsman. Rustic frame adds character and integrity. The newspaper age toning authenticates its gone by vintage. Glass is clean, clear and shiny. Interior objects are complete and intact.
This is your chance to get a great collectible at a great price.
