Born 11.15.08, 8 months old, currently 40 lbs - Jacob is my tea cup lab. That is what I called him as a baby b/c he was the tiniest little thing, half the size of the other pups. He has caught up to his siblings but boy was he a tiny mite! He has always had a great personality. He is very smart as well. I see his mother reflected in his personality. He taught himself to sit for attention or treats. He loves to go for car rides and will even play in the lake. He is hilarious b/c if you throw a stick he will chase it happily into the water but stop just short of having to swim. He then looks at you like "okay that went to far, try it again!". Jacob is a mommies boy. He wants a belly rub and loves to sit next to you on the couch. He has a great submissive personality and I giggle whenI watch him lay down flat on his belly and inch closer and closer to a dog who has a toy he wants. If that dog growls, he rolls over and wags his tail . Yes, I have spoiled him! He goes in his crate "bed" when told but at this point he is totally housebroken and would love to sleep near me (if only I had room!). Jacob and his siblings, Patrick, Caleb, Sabrina and Autumn are still here waiting for new homes. There is nothing wrong with them except they are black. If they were brown or yellow or white, they would have been adopted quickly. This dog is housebroken and crate trained. He is great with dogs but barks curiously at the cat.
