Description
Josie is a 5 year old, female brindle colored Pitbull Terrier mix.  Josie is a very loving and very affectionate girl but has been abused in the past.  She loves people once she gets to know you which doesn't take very long at all.  This sweet girl has been waiting for a home for over 2 years.  Joise's in a foster home and loves her foster mom to pieces but she must be rotated with many other dogs and doesn't get the attention she deserves. Once she gets to know to you, she will bond with you forever.  She's a smart and loving girl with a great personality. In general, she's quiet and likes to hang out but she does have bursts of energy and will run around the house and play. She loves lying on her dog bed, getting petted and playing with tennis balls. She also gets very excited and loves to run around the house when you first get home. Josie is housebroken, crate-trained, walks wonderfully on leash and loves car rides. She listens well and knows some basic obedience and really aims to please. All she wants is her own home again. Josie was attacked on 2 different occasions and can be a fear biter when it comes to other dogs.  She may do best as the only dog or with a laid back male.
