Robbie is one lucky boy. He was found by his angel, Mrs. Phellan. She continues to sponsor him while he is in our care. Robbie is an older boy. I would actually guess over 8 years old. He has a grey muzzle, worn teeth and the look and spirit of an older guy. He appears to be a boxer lab mix. Robbie is definitely more on the dominant side. Simply meaning that he will need a firm leader that will enforce rules with him and not let him get away with things just because he is so sweet. When he met Mrs. Phellan's dogs, he loved it. He played very well with everyone and it is obvious that he would enjoy a home with dogs (though without would be fine too.) In playgroups at Pawtropolis (where there is a larger number of dogs) he did attempt to mount the other dogs to show his dominance but never showed aggression. Robbie was heartworm positive when he was found but has recently gone through treatment and and recovery just fine. Robbie is looking for a home where he can retire and be safe for the rest of his life. WE DO NOT SHIP.All adult dogs are adopted already spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, up-to-date on all vaccines, kept on heartworm preventative, beginner to advanced training and microchiped. They also go home with a collar, id tag and a week's worth of food. Adoption fee is $135. Puppies adoption fees are $100 plus a spay/neuter deposit of $50 that is returned once the dog has been fixed. Puppies are up-to-date on everything they are old enough for.
