Description

Black Labrador Retriever - Large - Baby - Male - Dog - Rucker
Description
There is a tax deductible $75.00 adoption fee that applies to making this puppy a part of your family. This fee along with a sponsor gift makes them a happy healthy pet! This Group of three little black pups are sweet, smart , full of puppy playfulness and love...but that may not be enough to find them a home...normally their fate is not a good one. Area Georgia rescues even have an acronym for them, they are called Georgia Black Dogs or GBD and our animal control facilities are full of them. There are all kinds of guess's as to why the GBD is rampant here and why they are not pulled as quickly as other colors, but to Ga Rescue and Rehab, they are beautiful! As a group we try to pull black dogs from animal control facilities on a regular basis, no they do not adopt as quickly as some, but they are just as lovable as any other adorable pup. This group of 3 are lab X and all boys, they are approx:9-12 weeks and are current on shots and wormings...they are currently being maintained on preventatives for fleas/ticks and heartworms. Give these boys a chance and take them home....you won't regret your decision to save a black dog... GRR Adoption FAQ:1) How does the adoption process work? The first step in adopting is to complete an adoptionapplication from our website. Return it to garescuerehab@yahoo.comYour application will be forwarded to the pet's foster parent who will review itand check your vet reference. If the foster parent thinks that your family is a good match for the dog, they will contact you to arrange a meeting. If you meet the dog and agree that you've found the perfect pet, you can then take your new family member home!2) What is the adoption fee? We charge an adoption fee for each animal to help cover our vet costs. The adoption fee will vary depending on the animal you are interested in. Please email for the exact amount. We are a non-profit, 501C3 group that relies on donations and adoption fees to continue operating. 3) Do you adopt out-of-state? Yes, however we do NOT ship animals. We require new owners to pick up their pet in person. No exceptions. Period.4) I applied to adopt and was turned down. Why? There are several reasons that you may not have been approved to adopt a specific pet. Often, we have more than one family interested in the same animal--especially small breed dogs. We do not approve on a first come-first served basis. The foster parent reviews each application and chooses what they feel is the best family for that specific pet. We dorequire that all other pets in a new home be current on all their vaccinations and on heartworm preventative--the care you provide your current pet is the best indicator for how you will treat your newest family member. Also, all dogs are different. Some *must* have a fenced yard, while others don't. We are very honest in our pet's descriptions--we expect potential adopters to be equally as honest on their applications.5) I see a dog online that looks cute and I want to come meet that dog TODAY! All of our pets are fostered in private homes--we do not have a central shelter. You *must* complete an adoption application before we will schedule a time for you to meet one of our pets. No exceptions.
