Gotty is an absolutely adorable 3.5 year old blue male American Pit Bull Terrier. This handsome bully boy has been with his owners since he was a puppy, but his owner has moved into an apartment where Gotty is not allowed, and he has been staying with his owner's mother, who had hoped to keep Gotty. The mother has a female Pit Bull sibling of Gotty that he does not get along with, and so Gotty cannot remain there permanently and needs to find a forever home of his own. Gotty's favorite pastime activities include long walks, car rides, giving BIG wet kisses to everyone he meets, and rolling around in the grass, showing off his goofy side. Gotty loves playing in the water hose, playing fetch, playing on a spring pole, peanut butter filled konds, and cuz balls. He's affectionate, intelligent, and ever-so-loyal. He's made it clear that he enjoys being spoiled, pampered, and loved. He does have some skin issues as the blues normally do, and he's on a special food that he will need to be kept on when adopted, to ensure he doesn't have a break out. Gotty enjoys toys, loves treats, and is trained; he knows "sit", "stay", "shake", "kennel", and "spot", making him a relatively easy addition to his new family. He walks well on leash. He makes no complaints about being handled all over or having items removed from his mouth- he's just glad to get the attention. Gotty has already displayed dog aggression and as such, he will not be placed in a home with other dogs. Gotty has been neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested and dewormed, heartworm tested negative and kept on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. There is a $200.00 adoption fee to partially reimburse the organization for the veterinary expenses listed above. Gotty is looking for an INDOOR home, ONLY: we do not adopt to homes that will keep our rescued Pitties outdoors and/or on chains, runners, or in fences, kennels, pens, etc- If you cannot/will not provide an indoor home for our Bullies, or are looking to breed/fight, do NOT contact our organization (or apply for adoption) regarding Gotty or any of our rescued Pit Bulls. Application, adoption fee, home checks, references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption.
