Siva is an absolutely handsome 6 year old blue brindle male American Pit Bull Terrier. This handsome bully boy was originally a rescue who was adopted. but now his adoptive owner is moving and can not take Siva with him, so Siva must find a new home fast. Siva hopes someone will come along and see what a great boy he is, and offer him a forever home and a life full of pampering and spoiling! His owner describes him as mellow and independent, so he is all around a great dog to consider adding to your family. Siva favorite pastime activities include long breaks outside (he LOVES hanging outside), car rides, giving BIG wet kisses to everyone he meets, and bones. He's affectionate, intelligent, and ever-so-loyal. He's made it clear that he enjoys being spoiled, pampered, and loved. Siva enjoys toys, loves treats, and is already trained; he knows commands sit:, "stay", and "leave it", but is only consistent when he has treats- he needs a home with someone who will offer him more consistency with his training. He walks well on leash with the assistance of a prong collar, but without one will pull. He makes no complaints about being handled all over or having items removed from his mouth- he's just glad to get the attention. Siva lives with another dog but has not been socialized and has poor manners with other dogs; he may be able to be placed with a compatible female, but due to the Pit Bulls' tendency for same sex dog aggression, Siva will not be placed in a home with other male dogs. Siva has been neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested and dewormed, heartworm tested negative and kept on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. There is a $200.00 adoption fee to partially reimburse the organization for the veterinary expenses listed above. Siva is looking for an INDOOR home, ONLY: we do not adopt to homes that will keep our rescued Pitties outdoors and/or on chains, runners, or in fences, kennels, pens, etc- If you cannot/will not provide an indoor home for our Bullies, or are looking to breed/fight, do NOT contact our organization (or apply for adoption) regarding Siva or any of our rescued Pit Bulls. Application, adoption fee, home checks, references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption.
