Sharky is an absolutely adorable 7 month old fawn male American Pit Bull Terrier. This little guy was originally purchased from a BYB as a baby, and as he has gotten older, he has displayed aggression towards the other dogs in the house so his owners must rehome him. Although it is unusual for a Pit to be dog aggressive this young, it's not impossible and as such, Sharky HAS to be placed in a home with no other pets. Sharky is a typical Pit pup- energetic, active, destructive, and stubborn- he will need a home with someone who is patient, can spend sufficient time with him for training, and has Pit Bull experience. Sharky is low energy, affectionate, intelligent, and willing to do ANYTHING for a to please you; he already knows "sit" and has good manners- walks well on leash, knows to sit before eating, etc. He has made it clear that he enjoys being spoiled, pampered, and loved, and awaits a home that can offer him all of this and more. Sharky does well in the car, enjoys toys, loves treats, and is beginning his training to be a well-rounded Bully ambassador. He makes no complaints about being bathed, groomed, handled all over, or having items removed from his mouth. Again, Sharky has already displayed dog aggression and must be the only pet in his adoptive home. Sharky has been neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested and dewormed, started on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. There is a $200.00 adoption fee to partially reimburse the organization for the veterinary expenses listed above. Sharky is looking for an INDOOR home, ONLY: we do not adopt to homes that will keep our rescued Pitties outdoors and/or on chains, runners, or in fences, kennels, pens, etc- If you cannot/will not provide an indoor home for our Bullies, or are looking to breed/fight, do NOT contact our organization (or apply for adoption) regarding Sharky or any of our rescued Pit Bulls. Application, adoption fee, home checks, references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. Runt is ready for a loving, forever home with someone who can commit to him for the next 12-15 years of his life; if that home is with you, please fill out and submit an Application for Adoption BEFORE contacting us directly.
