Maggie is a one and a half year old boxer mix. She weighs about 50 pounds. Maggie is crate-trained. She is very good with children and most other dogs. Please contact: Kerrie for more information at kharmon320@comcast.net We found her as a stray in our neighborhood in June '09. We had already adopted a lab mix from a local rescue group in late April (and we have a 15 yr old Jack Russell female). She's very unusual looking and really very sweet with people. The problem is dominance. She is crate-trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She rarely chews on anything. She has a shoe fetish, but it is only a collection fetish, no chewing on the shoes at all. When I found her she was covered in ticks, with old scars on her face, neck, etc. She is also missing two toes on her left front paw. But, it was either congenital or happened early on. I have had her spayed, she is heartworm negative, up to date on all shots, and on heartworm prevention. She's approx 50lbs and approx 1- 1 1/2 years old. She's a wonderful family dog. If you would be willing to do a courtesy listing, I would greatly appreciate it. I feel more people looking at a "boxer rescue" would find her attractive. We live very close to Augusta, GA. I'm enclosing a picture so you can see "Maggie". I have no idea what else she is mixed with, but she has that slightly undershot jaw that is sooo cute. Please note that adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, and filling out an application does not guarantee the adoption on any dog.
