Who ever heard of a black Rhodesian Ridgeback? But here we have Gabby: a mix of Ridgeback and Lab - 2 fine breeds! You can clearly see the ridge of hair on her back and the black gives away her Lab genes. Gabby is a sweetheart of a dog who wound up at animal control as a stray. Gabby was so thin out of the shelter, we held her back from adoptions for 3 weeks simply to add enough weight on her to take her out in public!! She caught her rescuer's eye not only because of her good looks, but also because she has an odd front right leg attributed to an old injury which causes her to skip sometimes when she runs. This never slows her down! Gabby has great fun w/her other foster dogs and is a very happy dog. She will be a fine family companion. Gabby is approx. 1-2 yrs old, spayed, heartworm-free, vaccinated and microchipped. For more information about Gabby, contact veggiebev@bellsouth.net
