Meet Dessa! She is a gorgeous one year old Pit Bull Terrier who is looking for her forever home. Dessa is in foster care after being rescued along with her best friend Beau (see photo 2) from a home where she and Beau were neglected. Despite that, she is a friendly and affectionate gal who loves people and other dogs. She loves going for walks and to the dog park, and getting lots of exercise. Dessa has completed a basic obedience course with Kathy Bruce (of tv's It's Me or the Dog" ). She is crate trained and well on her way to being housebroken. Dessa and Beau have endured much together, so they are understandably very close. We are looking to find a person or family who would like to adopt them together. If you would like to adopt Dessa and Beau, please let us know. Dessa is fully vetted -- spayed, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and deworming.
