Email from owner: I have 2 dogs: Lexy (Lab/Rot mix) and Roxy (Rottweiler) that I will unfortunately be able to keep anymore. About 1 year ago our house foreclosed and so that we wouldnt have to get rid of them moved into a house which the landlord would allow us to keep them. Recently withthe major rains we got flooded. We have been dealing with that for the past few weeks and unfortunately the landlord has decided that he is not going to fix the walls which have been rotting from the inside out. I have two kids Jordan who is 4 and will be starting school next year and Jayce which is only 1 year old. Since the house has become an unsafe environment for the kids we have decided to move. We have looked at both houses and apartments and have found very few options which wed be able to keep the dogs. Right now my primary concern is my children. Since Jordan will be starting school next year we have decided to move into a good school district which we sadly will not be able to bring the dogs to the apartment we have decided on. Lexy, we were told, is actually a Lab/Rot mix. She is about 6 years old and is extremely playful youd at times think she is still a puppy. She is an attention hog and extremely loveable. She thinks she should be a lap dog; we tried breaking her of that when our first born came along, but she still will try to sneak up sometimes if she thinks she can. She is good with the kids, but usually could care less about actually playing with them unless they are throwing her toys to chase. She is behind on her shots and has not been spayed. I would guess she is about 65lbs. She loves to run and play outside, but will run away if not leashed or fenced-in. Roxy was given to us by someone who found her behind a dumpster at QT when she was only about 2 months old. Vets have told us that they dont see any traces of other dogs besides Rottweiler in her, but we do not have papers. Lexy and Roxy are probably only about 2 months apart. Roxy is also playful, but seems to be aging a little quicker than Lexy. She is great with the kids and anytime they get near, if she is not trying to get kisses from them, she will immediately roll to her back for them to rub her belly. She doesnt enjoy being outside as much as Lexy, but will not wonder far if she is not on a leash. Roxy is also behind on her shots but I dont think by much and has been spayed. She is probably around 70lbs. Dogs will be spayed and utd on shots prior to adoption! Please email diandpups@yahoo.com if you would like an application
