Description
Manny is a cream-colored, neutered miniature poodle about 8+ years old. He is an exploring, smart, and active little man and acts and looks a lot younger. He resembles Barry Manilow, hence the name Manny. He may not sing as well as Barry but has the cutest little bark! When he came to us, Manny had such badly infected teeth that the infection began forming a hole in his sinus cavity and coming out through his skin (see picture two). He was given a dental and further surgery, where he had all teeth extracted except for one lower right canine tooth. He eats soft food, is making a remarkable recovery, is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is housetrained. He loves cuddling and giving kisses. Manny's adoption fee is $200. We do not adopt out of state at this point in time. We do the work for you! All dogs adopted from Georgia Poodle Rescue are trained in a cage-free home environment in basic obedience, socialization, housetrained, how to walk on a leash, pack leadership protocols (with instructions to the lucky new owners), vetted, up-to-date with vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. An adoption fee allows our organization to continue rescuing, feeding, housing, training, rehabilitating and providing medical and nutritional care for the poodles, especially for those poodles that will most likely be with us for the rest of their lives due to their age or other issues. The adoption fee includes a free one-year membership in Georgia Poodle Club Incorporated and lifetime discounted dog boarding at the exclusive Blue Willow Farm. We go above and beyond to provide all of this to both you and your newly adopted dog(s) because we truly do care! Extra donations are greatly appreciated to help our organization balance the costly medical expenses between each animal. Your extra donation can also be customized for a personalized Memorial or Dedication, and/or to sponsor the care of a particular long-term animal resident(s), which will be displayed on our web site for all to see.
