Poodle - Small - Young - Male - Dog - Jackson

Jackson appears to be a small poodle/portugese water dog mix. Since he will remain small, we think the mix may be toy poodle/portugese water dog. He weighs about 15-20 pounds, is about 9-10 months old as of November 2009, and the vet says he should either stay close to his weight or max out about 25 pounds.....so he will remain a small dog, near the size of a miniature poodle. He has portugese water dog features (loose curl/wavy black hair, webbed toes, white bib, 3 white socks, and a long tail with a very small white tip). His name is Jackson, he is an extremely handsome young man, is very loveable and loves to play fetch with the ball and, as you can imagine, at this age, he is full of energy. He is presently going through our training program. Jackson's adoption donation/fee is $300. Note that we do not adopt out of state. We do the work for you! All dogs adopted from Georgia Poodle Rescue are trained in a cage-free home environment in basic obedience, socialization, housetrained, how to walk on a leash, pack leadership protocols (with instructions to the lucky new owners), vetted, up-to-date with vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. An adoption fee allows our organization to continue rescuing, feeding, housing, training, rehabilitating and providing medical and nutritional care for the poodles, especially for those poodles that will most likely be with us for the rest of their lives due to their age or other issues.
