Black Labrador Retriever - Large - Young - Female - Dog - Splash

Is there really any question how this gorgeous young black Lab female got her name? She adores the water (a typical Lab trait) and looks for every opportunity to get wet. In fact, at the shelter she would just flop down in their kiddie pool and soak whenever she got an opportunity. We're told that Splash will be 2 years old on her next birthday this coming Christmas Eve. So, she's still a youngster and loves to play catch and frisbee whenever she can get someone to play with her. Plus, she's one smart cookie. It's reported that Splash can open gate latches, so she'll need a secure area to romp and play. Besides being a good looking Lab, Splash walks nicely on the leash and appears to be housebroken. She ignored her foster parent's cat after it took a swipe at her nose, so we think she could co-habitat with felines. With such a strong resume, it's really tough to understand why she ended up in an area shelter. Splash would do great with an active family or person who really loves being around the water.
