Yellow Labrador Retriever - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Gray
Description
Im Gray, a handsome, three-year-old yellow lab. I enjoy long walks on the beach, spending time with my family, daily runs, chasing tennis balls, and cuddling. Im looking for someone to throw the ball for me in a backyard with at least a six-foot-tall fence, give me lots of exercise, and love me forever. Kids adore me and I love them, but since Im a big guy (around 80 pounds) Id do best with older kids. (Plus, they can throw the ball farther than younger kids!) I take treats very gently, ride nicely in the car, am very smart, and know to do my business outside. My friends love my big yellow head and goofy, outgoing personality. I love to have a good time (and did I mention chase tennis balls?) and Ill thrive in a home where I get enough exercise. I can be trusted alone in the house uncrated and when you are home, Ill be nearby even in your lap, if you like! A little about my past my first family had to give me up because of financial difficulties but loved me enough to make me a Squad Dog instead of leaving me at a shelter. Then, my foster family adopted me. I was an only dog and had a two-year-old human brother who liked to give me treats and hugs. Unfortunately, they didnt have enough time to give me the exercise I need to be a happy, well-behaved guy, so they decided it would be best for me to rejoin the Squad. Ill miss them, but know that everything happens for a reason and that theres another family out there who needs me to make their lives whole. One more thing. Im a little embarrassed to admit, but adoptions stress me out all the activity, sounds, and smells are a lot to deal with and sometimes I forget my manners. Please dont hold it against me. At home and under normal conditions, Im well behaved. If youd like to meet me, Ill be at the next Atlanta Dog Squad adoption. Hope to see you there!
