Ms. Katie is the TLCs very first Peach Pit! Truly an amazing dog with a larger than life personality Katie seems to have had a pretty rocky road before we met her. She was found as a stray in the Athens area, had apparently had a litter of puppies quite recently, was in heat, was drastically underweight, was heartworm positive and was scheduled to be euthanized after no one adopted her at Animal Control. Were now happy to report that Katie is in fabulous health. The funny thing about Katie is that even though we found her in rough shape, she was honestly just as happy then as she is now. This world just cant get her down. Little does Katie know just how much better things are gonna get when she finds a new home! If youre into bully breeds Katie is quite the catch. We think shes around 3 years old and is roughly 65-70 lbs. Katie is very strong and can be quite a handful when shes excited! Wed prefer Katie go to a home where she either is the only dog or is placed with a very relaxed, level headed male. While shes not aggressive in the traditional sense towards other dogs she has zero doggie social skills. Most of Katies previous life probably consisted of her being bred and thats about it. Poor thing. We cant express just how loving she is with people though. Really has to be seen to be believed. Dont miss out on this girl, shes a special one!
