Position Description:

consilium1 is looking for a highly effective Alfresco Consultant to participate in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design, and implementation of client initiatives. This is a Full time salaried position, with great benefits and a fantastic work environment.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



- Provide subject matter expertise around the Alfresco platform to identify and recommend workable solutions to clients



- Take ownership and lead business application design efforts


- Install and Configure Alfresco


- Demonstrate expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies, with specific expertise in Alfresco


- Have a firm understanding of design methods and architectures and leads development of formalizes solution methodologies


- Independently interact at the director-level and above in client - organizations


- Assist in the business development life cycle by serving as a solution SME in order to assist in the identification and qualification of business development opportunities



Qualifications:


- Must have a minimum of 5 years of technical consulting experience.



- Must have managed a minimum 2 implementations from concept to production within Alfresco .


- Demonstrate expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies, with specific expertise in both Alfresco 's document management and Web content management repositories


- Ability to define & validate the system's architecture


- Strong knowledge of CSS development and modern Web design principles


- Must be able to maintain the conceptual integrity of system


- Experience proactively assessing & mitigating technical risks to system, as well as facilitating communication among team



Additional Requirements:


Desired knowledge or expertise (one or more of the following areas):



- Ability to express complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences


- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


- Experience with any of the following tools, technologies or platforms are highly desired: JAVA or Open Source




Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
