Modis is currently seeking a Sr. Network Architect for an exciting contract opportunity with our client in the Atlanta, GA area.


The position is expected to start immediately and last for an initial duration of 8 months. There is a high likelihood of long-term contract extension and/or full time conversion. JOB DESCRIPTION


The Network Architect will be working to provide senior design, implementation support and on-going Tier 3/4 maintenance for enterprise business managed High Availability Network Services.


Services include everything from secure MPLS Backbone networks, the implementation and support of enterprise Cisco hardware (Routers/Switches) to high speed Internet access and security.


This position will require an in-depth level of understanding with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN services, Cisco GSR Routers, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Optical Networking, High Speed Internet Access, L1-L4 Switching, IP Backbone Networks, MPLS, VPN/MPLS Solutions, Network Management Systems and Enterprise Network Security with Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls and intrusion detection devices.


Candidates must have a minimum CCIE Written Certification for consideration. CCIE Lab is highly preferred


REQUIRED SKILLS


- Cisco CCIE Written/Lab Certification

- Minimum 7-9 years relevant work experience is required.

- In-depth understanding of MPLS Networking/secure IP Backbone networks and VPN solutions

- Strong Router configuration experience using BGP/OSPF/EIGRP/RIPv2/MPLS

- Excellent hands-on experience with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches and Cisco PIX/ASA Firewall and IDS devices

- Exceptional ability to multitask and lead multiple projects concurrently.

- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. HOW TO APPLY
