I have 13 years exp. and I am trained in three modalities,
SWEDISH (light to med therapeutic) completly pain free technique for relaxation and increased circulation but doesn't fix problems areas....basic "spa massage"
DEEP TISSUE(fix problems)this sometimes can 'hurt good' and is smaller, deeper, highly specialized movements that target and correct problem areas by manually streching and elongating the muscle back to its natural state,(or in laymens terms "getting the knots out") great for acute problems(days to months old=acute) like sleep wrong on neck or lower back pain from office chair or airplane or car ride , or you just got really stressed out and stored it in your neck and shoulders, great relieving spasms and knots as well as general tension (often blended with swedish)
SPORTS MEDICINE (post surgical, chronic pain, sport injuries)in this very specialized technique a LMT realigns mucsle like a chiroprator realigns bone, it can go from no discomfort to hurt good to brief painful spots..... the goal is gettin the joint back to full mobility, if you have had surgery or and injury and you don't get back the full range of motion, the joint will eventually go arthritic. OR chronic pain(pain for one year to 50 years, just have had the problem more than one year) you do not need surgery nor have you had an injury but your back has been bothering you for so many years you can't sit without pain(stand or move), everyday your fighting to push through the pain and finish the day.....trust me if this is your normal day, you will not mind the pain involved in this techique but will love the fact that after the massage the amount of time you spend each day in pain decreases for days/weeks/ months...results are so long lasting after the massage will make the discomfort so worth it.
Not sure what you need, that's just find. Most people need a blend of swedish and deep tissue. But i am very good at evaluating your problems, this is why i have spent most of my carreer working with chiropractors. not everyone needs chiropractic but anyone can benefit from a massage!!!!!I can determine just how much swedish,or deep tissue or sports you need. I mix and combine the techinques to met the needs and goals of rebalancing your body. I am very good at explaining as we go. I specialized in lower back/hip and neck pain, massage covers, neck and back and gluts,legs/arms, , optional.. scalp and face,hands/feet(people are often 'neutral about feet' they are usually 'love it' or 'skip it')

I am currently working,two mornings a week, for a chiropractor working on clients with insurance, so if you have insurance I can book you in office INSURANCE ONLY AT $75 FOR 30 MINS ONLY. NOT covered by insurance....see me outside the office. I am looking for private pay clients to work on outside the office in the afternoons and evenings and weekends.

I am a professional. I bring a professional massage table, linens(sheets and towels) and hypoallergenic lotion (NO hot oil as i am NOT 'bambi" the hot oil rub girl).
I arrive in a business van, always wearing medical "scrubs" or spa 'whites' (the white uniform always worn by the staff in spas)because I am a trained medical professional and dress like one. I expect to be treated, accordingly.

if you sort through all the sex workers falsly adverting under therapeutic, there are actually many talented people in and around, Atlanta!!! I am proud to be one of them. Peoples rates vary as does their training and expertise and experience and locations. Most people are worth what they charge. I have just moved here a few weeks ago and I am offering great rates in hope to establish a client base for my brand new practice. Those that start with me at this low rate will stay at that rate.
