Software Configuration Management Engineer


Our well respected client in the Alpharetta area is searching for a technology evangelist to join their Software Configuration Management team. This is a perm position with great benefits.


Perm salary of $90,000 to $105,000


The Software Configuration Management Engineer will monitor daily builds and implement changes to the build process as needed. This engineer will be considered an SME on version control tools. The right candidate will have experience with multiple version control tools (Caliber, Borland, CVS, Subversion, Maven, etc*).


Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of configuration management experience in high availability/high transaction environments.


Requirements:

-Experience with various version control tools: Caliber, Borland, CVS, Subversion, Maven

-Experience working in Linux, Unix, and Windows environments

-Firm understanding of SDLC process

-Ability to write scripts from scratch in Python, Perl, or Shell
