Software Engineer - cockpit simulation


*Will work as a team member in the Models group for laboratory development on various high fidelity lab/aircraft projects.
*Involved in the development of high fidelity sensor avionics (IR, EO, radar, IRSTS, RWR, MLD, and electronic counter measures) as well as ground early warning sensors (EWS) and Surface to Air Missile (SAM) target tracking radars.
*Participate in the software development of high fidelity, multi-ship, man-in-the-loop fighter simulations.
*Participate in the design, development and integration of fighter aircraft sensor systems for Real Time, man-in-the-loop simulations.
*Develop software models in either C++ and/or ADA, depending

upon overall system application.
*Keywords: Embedded software, RTOS, ARM9 processors, C/C++, Ada, SAM, SAR, F-35, data communications, distributed networks, data encryption, data security, data compression

Requirements

*BSEE/Comp Sci/Comp Eng/Physics with 15 years or more of professional experience.
*C++ or ADA software development experience for Real Time, Embedded systems.
*Software modelling/simulation experience, including Cockpit-in-the-loop Simulation
*Domain knowledge base in one or more of the following:

Electrical Optical Sensors, Infrared Radar, IRST, EW, RWR, Missile Launch Detection, Electronic Counter Measures, Early Warning Sensors (EWS), Surface to Air Missile (SAM) Target Tracking Radars.
*Active Top Secret Security clearance.
*Nice to have special access (SAR) clearances for F-35.
*Atlanta, GA location - relocation coverage available.
