Description
We are seeking a candidate for the position of Sr. Project Manager. The ideal person would be a self motivated, team-oriented professional experienced in managing litigation projects in a fast growing, technology based company. Qualified candidates will be dynamic, high integrity individuals who are adaptable and innovative team players that enjoy the challenge of employment within a service-based environment. The position is responsible for managing electronic data discovery projects and hosted platform review projects.
Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
A subject matter expert for electronic discovery, the Senior Project Manager provides guidance and general oversight during the entire e-discovery life cycle.
Plans, coordinates, executes and delivers electronic discovery projects - Facilitates communication and collaboration between and among client resources, technology staff, vendors, outside counsel legal teams and support staff.
Consults and coordinates with clients on collection, management, review, processing and/or production of electronically stored information (ESI) striving to be on time, with high quality and meeting all requirements.
Coordinates with local internal market IT teams on acquisition of ESI.
Identifies and escalates issues and risks as appropriate.
Use critical thinking and trouble-shooting abilities to formulate cost effective solutions for our clients
Quality assurance of project data prior to client delivery
Documenting project expectations in statements of work and project specifications
Document project progress and report progress to clients on a daily/weekly basis
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Must have advance knowledge of Microsoft Access and database related systems. PMP certification not required.
5-7 years of combined experience in litigation/litigation support, electronic data discovery, project management and electronic data discovery technologies and review platforms.
Extensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, management and processing of electronically stored information (ESI) as they relate to legal matters, including the use of various ESI management and review tools and applications.
Strong communication and organizational skills in order to work effectively with legal as well as technical teams.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple large projects simultaneously.
