DescriptionConfiguration Manager Job Description:

Common Responsibilities

- Ensure overall quality of the product

- Collaborate with the Development Team to create test plans

- Manually test new and existing features of the product

- Develop Unit test solutions and automated test scripts

- Develop Test harnesses

- Setup test environments consisting of one or more virtual machines

- Candidate must be confident and be able to stand up for themselves


CM Role

- Microsoft TFS Build / MS Build

- Ability to Read SQL and C# code

- Windows Scripting

- Visual Source Safe / TFS

- Experienced with Windows Server 2003 R2 and Server 2008

- Experience with MS SQL Server; Backup, Restore, User Management, Running Queries

- Analyze configuration requirements

- Document and communicate configuration management policies to the project team

- Maintain Configuration and Change Management plan

- Create builds with a high level of accuracy and completeness

- Perform merges from different code branches in accordance with the Configuration Management Policies

- Ensure routine backup and archival of project repository is in accordance with Configuration Management Policies

- Create, maintain, and execute automated build scripts


QA Role

- Manual Testing

- Build out Automated Testing Scripts

- .NET / SQL Experience

- Excellent communication skills written and verbal

- Independent worker

- Experience Building Test Plans

- Ability to understand T-SQL and Profile a SQL Server
