Xpect SVC is currently seeking an AS400 Programmer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client located in the Norcross, GA area.

Candidate will be responsible for maintenance and configurations to existing internal applications (payroll, billing, etc). 80% of the code is written in Cobol, and 20% in AS400 i-Series (RPG).



Candidate should have extensive skills with Cobol, AS400, C# and ASP.Net.



Required Skills:
*A minimum of 5 years experience with AS400.
*Candidate should have experience on IBM iSeries, Cobol, RPG, DB2/400.
*Must have experience with C# and ASP.NET.
*Excellent SQL skills
*Knowledge of Windows XP, Microsoft Office - required.
*Good project management skills with the ability to work effectively with a minimum of supervision within challenging deadlines.
*Ability to work with minimal direction on complex projects or unresolved issues.
*Able to quickly obtain an awareness of business or function for which application is designed.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills.
