DescriptionSenior Technical Engineer Job Description:

We are currently interviewing Sr. Technical Engineers for a contract to

permanent position with a leading healthcare company in Alpharetta, GA. The Sr. Technical Engineer will act as primary technical support for technical advisors and project managers. The role requires excellent customer service and client interfacing skills.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Assist with the engineering of customers technical solutions


-Supervise the installation of systems onsite, and coordinate the deployment of the system into production, with the appropriate Project Manager and other technical resources


-Work closely with R&D in understanding new components that have been developed and which need to be integrated into the system.


-Act as primary technical support for Technical Advisors


-Assist with the maintenance of an internal knowledgebase of problems and solutions


-Define and maintain a clear, concise documented process for the integration of the system


-Work with the Project Manager to coordinate the scheduling of resources for projects.


-Train new Technical Advisors and Technical Project Managers on our technology and facilitate the training of new technical resources on third party technology


REQUIRED:

-Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience


-Experience in managing or supervising technical teams


-Excellent oral and written communication skills


-At least 3 years experience in integrating systems in PC LAN-based, client-server environments


-In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols


-Knowledge of Windows environments


-Knowledge of relational databases and SQL


-Customer Management skills essential


-Ability to communicate complex technical information to others


DESIRABLE:

Healthcare Information Systems experience

Project Management skills and tools

Organizational and time management skills


Percent of Travel: 50%
