Our client is seeking several Healthcare Software Trainers. These are contract positions that require 80-100% travel.

Candidates must have clinical experience and must have held a previous position in Healthcare as a Nurse, Doctor, or in a related field.

Required Skills:


Experience with Horizon Clinical applications including Horizon Expert Orders, Horizon Expert Documentation, Horizon Emergency Care, and/or Horizon AdminRx is required.

6+ years technical training, field sales, product support, and/or consulting experience.

BA/BS degree preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills including very strong verbal and written communication skills are required.


Problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

RN or other nursing/clinical experience is required.

Prior training experience and understanding of adult learning techniques is required.

Understanding of clinical services and operations related to the healthcare industry including nursing, emergency department, hospital pharmacy and other clinical operations is preferred.

Provider adoption or implementation of physician/nursing applications experience is desired.

Medication safety initiative, implementation and policies procedures experience is desired.

JCAHO medication safety standards familiarity is desired.

Experience improving clinical operations, process redesign and change management is helpful.

Must be willing to travel up to 80% (travel may vary based on courses taught, from 20-80%, with occasional weekly stretches of up to 100%, depending on the specific position being filled and location of employee). Flexible schedule to meet customer demands for shift work (first and second) for on-site end-user training, with occasional weekend and/or holiday requests.
