Position Description:Maxim Healthcare's office in North Atlanta, GA is seeking caring and dependable RNs and LPNs for pediatric homecare cases in Atlanta, Stone Mountain, Marietta, Decatur, Lawrenceville and Alpharetta, GA. At this time, all shifts are available on Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem schedules. While maxim encourages all nurses with at least 1 year of licensed experience to apply, ideal candidates for these positions should preferably have prior experience with Ventilator, Trach and G-Tube Care (all of these skill sets are directly related to the needs of the patients). Prior experience with Pediatric Care is REQUIRED.


**At this time, there are also IMMEDIATE NEEDS for Spanish speaking nurses!**

In an effort to ensure that all Maxim nurses are prepared for the needs of their patients, the North Atlanta Pediatric office offers in-service training and orientation in Ventilator Care.

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work within our clients' homes providing direct patient care. Working with the physician, Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) develop and manage nursing care plans, as well as instruct patients and their families in proper treatment, helping individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health. As a Maxim RN / LPN you will be responsible for following a physician established plan of treatment under the direction of our Director of Clinical Services. Maxim believes that qualified nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families and communities.
Experience Required:Qualifications


- Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

- Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required with home health experience preferred

- Current CPR certification

- Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements

- Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray

- Reliable transportation
