This clarinet is a real steal! Made from grenadilla wood (which makes this particular Buffet a rarity, as the company no longer uses this wood) this vintage 1971 Buffet has been kept in great condition. The keys were re-padded a couple of years ago and yearly inspections revealed no cracks, leaks, or other cosmetic deviations of any kind.

This Buffet is by far the best clarinet I have ever owned (and I’ve played for over ten years) and has taken me everywhere, from District Honor Bands all the way to the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. The only reason I’m parting with it is because my caliber of musicianship has switched veins and I no longer have a use for it.

This would be an excellent clarinet for anyone wishing to jump up from a plastic clarinet to the “next level” and is convenient to have if you plan to go above the intermediate level.
