Xpect SVC is currently seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer for a Full time opportunity with our client in the Atlanta, GA area. This role will be responsible for working with prospects and partners during the sales process to understand their strategic business issues and craft and communicate solutions strategies. This will require a consultative sales process, and a strong consulting background is necessary. The qualified candidate has a strong technical background, knowledge of financial business processes, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger, and customer interaction experience.



Job Description:

*Working closely with sales force and prospective customers and partners to understand strategic business issues
*Managing and presenting custom demonstrations, including extensive hands-on work with the software
*Working closely with product management, engineering, services, marketing, and support teams to provide input and share experiences
*Managing customer and internal resources as required to successfully complete required project tasks.
*Earning client and partner trust through technical and functional expertise
*Collaborating and negotiating in the context of achieving shared objectives

Required Skills:


*5 years software product pre-sales, business analyst, consulting and/or software implementation experience
*Accounting and/or auditing experience or certification (highly desired)
*Big 4 consulting background (highly desired)
*ERP system implementations (preferred)
*A strong foundation in technology including SQL and XML. Familiarity with Unix (command line navigation, basic commands, job scheduling and vim) preferred. Proficiency with personal and project productivity tools including MS Office, MS Project.
*Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business/functional and highly technical individuals
*Effective problem solving capabilities
*Solid techno-functional ability to work hands-on with technology, as well as understand and communicate business objectives
*A more than conversational understanding of one or more customer business processes including procure-to-pay (purchasing, receiving and accounts payable), order-to-cash (sales order entry, shipping, billing, accounts receivable), general accounting and close (general ledger), financial reporting
*Presentations to both small and large groups. Able to command attention, effectively explain proposed solutions, and answer detailed questions from across the spectrum.
*In addition, a college or university degree in a related field is required
*Ability to receive US government security clearance.
*Travel up to 50%
