Description
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has a direct hire opening for a Technical Account Manager with a leading company in Marietta, GA.
Responsibilities:
* The Technical Account Manager will be directly responsible for supporting existing business and growing new sales and services.
*Programming and coding (C++ Programming experience is required).
*Conduct day to day activities include supporting existing customers, representatives and direct sales personnel in technical subjects related to both software and hardware.
*Presentation & consulting engagements at customers' premises as well as through Webex.
*Project management of rollout of Integrated Solutions.
*Installation and validation of software.
Key Strategic Responsibilities:
Delivery of consulting services
Project Management of integrated calibration solutions
Providing input for new products and product requirements for the US market
Translating feature requirements into engineering specifications
Defining supportability requirements
Office IT requirements
Key Tactical Responsibilities:
Support sales in identifying and accessing new target customers and new business areas within Integration Services
Working closely with existing key customers, lead customer in integration matters.
Undertaking networking in appropriate market sectors.
Key Operational Responsibilities:
Assist in the maintenance and growth of Support Contract business
Integration Sales Support as well as after sales support to end users and representatives
Integration
Validation
Dbase conversions
Training (where needed)
Technical Expertise:
Excellent methodical remote troubleshooting skills, very strong as a HW/SW system integrator.
Experience of programming in a variety of environments (Visual Basic a plus) C++ Programming experience is required.
1. Understanding of how relational databases are built and how they work (SQL Server and Oracle)
2. Visual Basic (Part of Visual Studio 2005 tool box) + Object Orientated programming skills
3. SQL (Structured Query Language)
4. C# (Part of Visual Studio 2005 tool box)
5. Understanding of .NET architecture
Experience of a variety of network systems
Experience of Dbase conversions - SQL/XML required. (Oracle a plus).
Client Server Experience (Thin Client a plus).
Experience in validation services would be considered an advantage.

Qualifications:
BSc or Higher in related field of study.

Base Salary $50-60K + Bonus ($20K OTE)
Eligible for company profit share (up to 2 months of salary)
